Four-time Olympic gold medallist Matthew Pinsent announced to the Twittersphere that, after three years of trying, he had broken the half-hour mark for one of his regular running routes. The fabled oarsman had clocked 29.10 for the loop that runs from the picturesque Hammersmith Bridge to Barnes Bridge and back.
