Runbristol 2011 offers a 10K race in May and a half marathon in September. Both races start and finish in the city centre and their routes are fast and flat. Whether you choose to run the springtime Bristol 10K or autumn Bristol half marathon you will be taking part in one of the most popular races in the UK. 
Bristol half marathon September 2011The Bristol half marathon is now one of the largest and most popular half marathons in the UK. Organised by Bristol City Council, the race has a long and successful track record with around 16,500 club, novice and fun runners entering last year. And in 2011, the Bristol half marathon will host the UK Athletics half marathon Championships, attracting a staring line up of some of Britain’s most talented long distance runners.Like the Bristol 10K, the Bristol Half Marathon course is flat - offering great potential for fast times. It starts and finishes on Bristol’s historic Harbourside. The scenic, sea-level route takes runners around the old city, along the Harbourside, out and back along the stunning Avon Gorge, and passes twice under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Bristol 10K May 2012The Bristol 10K has been massively successful since it was first launched four years ago. Already attracting well over 11,000 runners, the race is on target to see up to 15,000 entries in the next few years.
