National Fitness Day UK 2012!
Celebrate National Fitness Day UK 2012 by following Men’s Running 10 minute running plan and re-energise your workout!
Returning for its second year,
National Fitness Day UK aims to ‘empower the nation’ to take action to improve their personal fitness and wellbeing.
As part of the day, it is calling on the British public to take part in 30 minutes of physical activity in its ‘empower half hour’ – a concept which aims to encourage people to kick-start exercise regime whatever their fitness level or age.
“If you do just 30 minutes of exercise a few days a week, you can start to make a big difference to your life and well-being. National Fitness Day is the ideal excuse to make that start”, says David Beattie, marketing and brand manager from the énergie Group, which founded the day.
Free events and activities will also take place across the country, with the énergie Group opening its 100 clubs to the public for free, Beattiee adds: “You don’t have to join a gym or fitness club to lead a healthier lifestyle. Walking in the park or simple exercises can cost nothing.”
