First Time Users
Thanks to our members' functionality, you can share information, chart your successes, locate running clubs, or create a unique running group for you and your mates.You are welcome to browse most of the site without restriction, but if you wish to make your own posts or comment on anything you see, you will need to sign up.
How to use the siteOnce you’ve logged on to www.mensrunninguk.co.uk go to My Profile, where you can update your personal details. Simply hover over the questions and press edit to input your details.You can also add a picture of yourself by hovering over the image section, and you can change your status update as regularly as you like.
Running DiaryOnce you’ve updated your profile, you can then start updating your Running Diary! Simply go to the My Running tab at the top of your profile page, click on Create New Entry and then input your latest run.
You can even accurately record your route using our interactive map! Go to 'My Profile' and then click on 'My Running' and then 'Create New Entry' to start. Then Simply type in the town or postcode of your run location, and then click on the map to start marking your waypoints. Once you’ve mapped your route, press save and your route will automatically be saved into your running diary. If your run was in a straight line, simply press Plot Return Route and it will automatically go back the way you came.
SecurityTo change your security settings and control how much or little of your profile can be viewed by other users, go to the Settings tab and simply tick or un-tick the boxes you want to remain visible.All members' photos and profiles are vetted by our web administrator, to ensure that they comply with our terms and conditions of use. We will take action against any profiles that we believe are in breach of these guidelines or are otherwise unacceptable.
ForumFor running advice, spiritual guidance, or to merely have a rant, check out our community forums. Simply go to the Forum, click on the topic that interests you, and either click on Add a Reply to join in a conversation, or Add a Topic to start your own.
You can also join a Group, or set up your own. Simply go to the Find Group tab in the Community section and search for a Group using a keyword (for example West London Runners). To set up your own group go to My Groups and click on Create Group. Input the name and description of your group, add a picture that best represents it, and then press save. Once you’ve created your group you can then go to your friends' profiles and invite them to join your group. You can also use your group as your own mini chat room. You can also make the group private, so no one but you and the other members can view your forum chat.
MessagingStay in touch with friends using our built in members' messaging service. You can send private messages, and with full access to all of your sent and draft messages, you can manage your contacts.
