Bupa Great North Run: Charity Places Available with Diabetes UK
- Posted: 14th Mar 2013, 13:54Report
Are you looking for a place at the world’s largest half marathon? Diabetes UK has Charity Places available at the Bupa Great North Run in Newcastle on Sunday 15th September. Our runners each receive a free technical T-shirt or vest, free crazy hair, fundraising tools and support, a personalised training plan provided by the Bupa running experts, a discount for Runners Need and regular newsletters with information on training, fundraising and race day activities, as well as cheering points at the run and race day activities. Our Charity Places cost £25 each and we ask that our runners raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship. Diabetes is serious. If left untreated it can lead to heart disease, blindness, kidney failure and other life threatening conditions. It affects one in 20 of us, and kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. Diabetes UK is the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk from diabetes. With your help we can continue to make a difference to people’s lives.
