Six marathons, six men - Project 26.2 is back!
In Spring 2013, these six men will tackle their marathons under the guidance of the MR coaching team. A mix of first-timers to seasoned speedsters, we’ll follow their journeys every step of the way to race day.
From the ex-soldier who has conquered a crippling back condition to the 60-hour a week chef with weight loss goals and a wedding on his mind, these are the six who have made it through the rigorous selection process (it was rigorous for us, reading through the hundreds of applications, and a bit tearful, if we’re honest) for Project 26.2, 2013.
We’ve once again assembled a team of experts, led by MR Coaching Editor Nick Anderson, to cater for their every need. The six winning runners will recieve regular bespoke training plans from our experts, plus full running kit from Saucony, footwear from Up & Running, a state-of-the-art Garmin and all the nutrition products they need from High5, plus injury prevention advice from Physio & Therapy.
Honestly, we know Olympic champs with smaller entourages. So, their marathon missions start here. Gentlemen, start your engines.
