Catching the running bugRecently relocated to New York for work, Chris is making the most of catching the running bug to explore the city on foot

My name is Chris and I'm a 28 year-old Englishman living, working and running in New York. In early 2010, three stone overweight after almost a decade of inactivity, I started running. In October of that year I ran a 10km with my family for charity; it was my first race and I knew even before the end of the race that I had caught the running bug. A year later I ran my first marathon.
I'm now a four-time marathoner with a 03:37:38 PB, one-time Tough Mudder, and legal alien using running as a means of exploring my new surroundings. I arrived in New York in September 2012, and this is my blog to document my experiences of the city from the perspective of a runner hailing from a small town in south-east England.
