Hello Everyone Basically starting out, can just about do 3k and wanting to get better. Any tips or advice? Also using running to try and help me stop smoking

First of all welcome to the slightly mad world of running, the people you drove pass on those cold wet days are now your colleagues! I would choose a race/park run 5k or 10K and sign up ( needs to be about 10 weeks away). Then find a trainning program you like, loads on the internet and in MR. The rest is easy just follow it. Before you know it you'll be hooked and planning your first marathon. Good luck.
