Men’s Running’s new training guru Steve Smythe has forgotten more about running than most of us will ever learn.
Steve has run sub-three hour marathons in each of the last five decades and has coached hundreds of other runners to reach their personal goals, from beginners to elite athletes. He will be on hand in the magazine every month to answer your running questions, so whether you’re tackling your first marathon, want to shave a few minutes off that 10K, improve your stamina, or find out the best way to take yourself from no-hoper to regular runner, Steve will have the answers for you. 'Getting anyone to improve is rewarding, whatever their ability,' he says. “Running is a fantastic sport which gives solid rewards to hard work and sensible training.
